Adult weight training and walking is
available at Washington High School on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:00
pm to 7:00 pm. Cost is $40.00 per

Kayaking Trip |

Stan Shedaker from Adrenaline High leads
kayaking trips in the Princess Anne
area. He will provide the kayaks.
Space is limited. There is a minimal

Tennis Clinic |
| |

Tennis Clinic will be offered to both
children and adults and provides
instruction for beginners as well as
experienced players. There will be some
one on one instruction as well group
instruction. Game situations will be
discussed, and games will be played.
Bernard Johnson and Donnie Price are the
instructors. The cost is $30.00 per
participant.
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday
beginning in June at Washington High
School from 6:00 pm to 7:00. For more

Adult Flag Football |

Adult Flag Football is offered in the
fall. Teams play 5 on 5 with games
being played on Sunday mornings. Cost
per team is $100 plus referree fees.

AEROBICS |

Somerset County Recreation and Parks is
offering an Aerobics class. Lauren
Deal, an experienced certified fitness
trainer, will lead the hour long class
that will include aerobics, light
weights and Pilates/yoga. No experience
required, just be ready for a fun
fitness workout. The exercise level for
this class is moderate. Cost of the
program for the six week session will be
$30. Check the Recreation Schedule for

Mens' Softball League |

We will be offering a Mens Softball
League that will be held at Somerset
Ruritan Field in Princess Anne. The
league will run in April. Cost is
$250.00 per team. For more information

Outdoor Walking/Jogging Trail |
| |
|
Outdoor walking/jogging is now available
at the Centralized Recreation Facility
in Westover FREE of charge. A half mile
walking and jogging trail has been
completed and is open for use by the
public. Additionally, we are offering an
Outdoor Walking Program. Orientation
will be held on Thursdays in May from
4:30 to 5:30. During orientation, you
will be given information about the
program, and be given a form if you want
to track your progress. The forms will
track weekly progress, and can be turned
in at the walker |
