	Outdoor Soccer
			Open to boys and girls ages 5-14. Signups begin in June and run through August. Season begins in September and runs through November. Cost is $35.00 per player.

	Indoor Basketball
			Open to boys and girls grades 3-8. Signups begin in November and the season starts in January. Cost is $35.00 per player. Call the Somerset County Recreation and Parks office at 410.651.4980 for more information.

	Field Hockey
			Open to girls in grades 3-8. Signups begin in June and run through August. The season begins in September. Cost is $35.00 per player.

	Golf For Youth Scholarship Program
			Funds are now available to provide financial assistance to help children in Somerset County participate in programs offered by Somerset County Recreation and Parks. The Golf for Youth Scholarship Program will fund the participation fee in our programs to qualified applicants. Application forms can be obtained at the Somerset County Recreation and Parks Office in Westover, Maryland. Scholoarship Guidelines are currently as follows: Scholarship opportunities enable Somerset County residents, who would not otherwise have the opportunity, to participate in educational and recreational activities ranging from karate, boater

	TENNIS CLINIC
			Tennis Clinic is offered to both children and adults and provides instruction for beginners as well as experienced players. There will be some one on one instruction as well group instruction. Game situations will be discussed, and games will be played. Bernard Johnson and Donnie Price are the instructors. The cost is $35.00 per participant. Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday in June at Washington High School from 6 pm to 7 pm.

	Fishing Derby
			The Somerset County Department of Recreation and Parks holds its annual Fishing Derby around the end of June. The event is FREE for children 15 years and under. All participants should bring their own rod and bait. Prizes will be awarded in various age groups for biggest fish caught. 	Golf Clinic
			Great Hope Golf Professional Tim Brittingham instructs 2-day Junior Golf Clinics in June, July and August. Cost is $25.00. For more information contact the Recreation and Parks department at 410-651-4980.

	Soccer Clinic
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks will be sponsoring a Soccer Clinic in July at the Centralized Athletic Complex in Westover. Call our office at 410.651.4980 for more information.

	Punt/Pass/Kick
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks will be hosting the National Pepsi Punt/Pass/Kick competition in September beginning at 10:00 am at Washington High School. The competition is FREE and is open to boys and girls age 8-15. Boys and girls compete separately, and the top scorer in each age division (8/9. 10/11, 12/13 an 14/15) will advance to the Sectional Competition. 	Indoor Soccer
			Somerset Recreation and Parks will be having its 2010 Indoor Soccer season starting in January. Indoor Soccer is open to boys and girls ages 5 -17 (Kindergarten

	Toddler Little Gym
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks is offers Toddler Little Gym, an interactive exercise program for children 2 -4 years old. Classes are held at the Somerset County Complex Gym in Princess Anne MD. The cost for the program is $20.00. Scholarship funds are available. 	Field Hockey Camp
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks is offers a Field Hockey clinic in the summer. The players grades 3-8 are lead through drills to enhance skills and knowledge of the game. 	Indoor Field Hockey
			Indoor Field Hockey is offered on Friday evenings at the Somerset Complex Gym in Princess Anne in January. Indoor Field Hockey is open to girls grades 3-8. Cost will be $30.00 per participant. 	MIDDLE SCHOOL 8 v 8 FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks is offering a summer field hockey 8 v 8 league for middle school teams. Cost of the program is $200 per team plus officials fees. The Leagues start in June and run thru July. Games will be played at the Somerset County Recreation and Parks Centralized Athletic Complex in Westover. 	SUMMER GAMES CAMP
			Somerset County Recreation and Parks is offering a Summer Games Camp August 9 thru August 12 from 8:30-12:30 for children ages 7-12 at the Centralized Athletic Facility in Westover. The cost of this 4-day program is $40.00. Different games will be played such as Capture the Flag, Dodge Ball, Ultimate Frisbee and Whiffle Ball.
