Raccoon Point and Great Hope Golf
Course. An Exclusive Use Pavilion
Agreement must be completed. Call

Golf For Youth Funding Assistance
Funds are now available to provide
financial assistance to help children in
Somerset County participate in programs
offered by Somerset County Recreation
and Parks. The Golf for Youth Funding
Assistance Program will fund the
participation fee in our programs to
qualified applicants. Application forms
can be obtained at the Somerset County
Recreation and Parks Office in Westover,
Maryland or on our website

Outdoor Walking/Jogging
Outdoor walking/jogging is now available
at the Centralized Recreation Facility
in Westover FREE of charge. A half mile
walking and jogging trail has been
completed and is open for use.
Additionally, are offering an Outdoor
Walking Program:
Forms will be provided to track your
weekly progress and can be turned in at
the walkers convenience. Incentives
will be offered. For more information

Adult Field Hockey League
We are taking team registrations for an
Adult Field Hockey league that will be
played on Monday nights starting at 6:00
pm. Cost will be $200.00 per team plus
referee fees. Call 440.651.4980 and ask

Adult Flag Football
Adult Flag Football will begin in
September. Games will be played on
Sunday mornings at the Westover
Centralized Complex. Teams will play 5
on 5. Cost per team is $150.00 plus
referee fees. SPACE IS LIMITED so

a team.

looking for flag football referees.

Adult Drop In Field Hockey
ADULT DROP IN FIELD HOCKEY
Drop In Adult Field Hockey is now
available at the Centralized Athletic
Facility on Monday evenings starting at

ZUMBA
Somerset County Recreation and Parks is
taking registrations for Zumba class.
Lauren Deal, an experienced certified
fitness trainer, will lead the hour long
class. No experience required, just be
ready for a fun fitness workout.
Challenge yourself to lose pounds,
inches or build stamina. The exercise
level for this class is moderate. Cost
of the program for the six week session
will be $35 and classes will start on
Thursday September 16 at 6:30 pm at the
Somerset County Office Complex Gym in

MOVIE NIGHT - WESTOVER
Somerset County Recreation and Parks is
offering a FREE movie night on Friday
September 17 at 8:00 pm at the
Centralized Athletic Complex in
Westover. The newly released movie
MARMADUKE will be shown. The
concession stand will be open and
popcorn and refreshments will be sold.
Bring a lawn chair and blanket.
